CANADA’S BEST NEW RESTAURANTS

Since 2002, Air Canada enRoute has been on a mission to showcase new Canadian restaurants. This year, Air Canada is continuing the tradition and has once again sent a critic across the country, incognito, in search of the places and people that are reshaping Canada’s diverse culinary landscape. Discover them here!

SAINT PIERRE LE VIGNOBLE

Located at the entrance to the island, on the border of the village of Ste-Pétronille, the vineyard welcomes you in its marquee barn-stable dating back to 1935, the year of the inauguration of the Île d’Orléans bridge. It has been restored to ensure that its value as a heritage site is preserved. Saint Pierre Le Vignoble was born from two passions: the soil and winemaking. While initially dedicated to growing berries, for more than ten years, “Ferme La Rosacée” changed its vocation to become a vineyard in 2003. Determined to take root in Île d’Orléans, Christiane and Jacques set out to combine their two passions and to extract this exceptional winegrowing and winemaking potential of the Orleanian terroir to its fullest.

CASSIS MONA & FILLES

Located on Île-d’Orléans, this family-owned distillery offers magnificent flavours and vistas. If you go, be sure to visit the wine cellar, the dairy bar and the restaurant La Monnaguette.

STE-PÉTRONILLE VINEYARD

Ste-Pétronille Vineyard, also located on Île-d’Orléans, is a local wine lover’s paradise. For an unforgettable experience, tour the grounds during the grape harvest.
